As the CN Staff continues to prepare the Camp for the Summer there is time to appreciate and give thanks for God’s beautiful creation. The flower beds around the Church contain their own beauty: flowers, some larger – some smaller, remind us that no one creates as stunningly as our Lord. Psalm 104 from Vespers comes to mind at the end of the day here: “O Lord, how manifold are Thy works! In wisdom hast Thou made them all…” (Ps. 104.24) No one ever said of God’s handiwork, “Oh that’s overdone” or “Oh, that’s gaudy.” No one has ever said that because even in His incredible and beautiful creation He remains humble.
