Trust Falling

Yesterday the CN staff spent a majority of the afternoon together for some training. The training dealt with safety, attention to detail, strategic planning to execute an objective, and to build trust with each other. To say the least, it's something all teams of staff should have. It's the ability to think outside the box, always considering safety risks/hazards, paying attention to detail and having trust with each other that allows for a dynamic staff and healthy working environment.

At camp we have been fortunate enough to receive such incredible training to prepare us to work with the youth of the diocese. Along with this training of mind and body, we receive spiritual training and nourishment as well. We are constantly reminded of how we can overcome anything by the Grace of God and that only through Him, can anything be accomplished.

So we worked together as a team yesterday as part of staff training. As part of the training, we had to build trust with each other and learn to communicate in effective ways, in order to complete a task in the most efficient of ways.

Overall it was an incredible day spent together with each other. While there were serious aspects of the day, there was also a lot of laughing. I can't help but look forward to more staff arriving, and of course, our incredible campers!
