Post Camp Thoughts

Hey readers!

We're back and ready to continue the blog posts. We're going to try to get 2-3 articles posted per week. Obviously the off-season of camp is completely different than the actual camping season. As you probably noticed, the blog went "inactive" during the camping weeks, so we could dedicate our time and energy to the kids! If you kept up with the CN Facebook & YouTube pages, you probably saw all the fun the kids were having through all the photos and videos that were posted. And for those of you who enjoyed seeing the photo and video posts, there are more to come. We've initiated an off-season dedication to the tech of Camp Nazareth in order to keep campers, alumni and parents active in the world, so we'll have more photos and videos on the way highlighting different elements and aspects of the summer 2015 camping season.

So what's going on with Camp Nazareth right now? For starters, we've started the cabin expansion project, which is super exciting. Glory to God for this being made possible. For those of you who are unaware, each cabin is being added on to with 3 individual shower stalls, a common room, and a porch. This will help maintain clean campers and more opportunity to freshen up after a rigorous activity such as sports or the ropes course. Which leads into the next topic, the ropes course. Camp is currently wrapping up the installation of the high ropes elements. Don't worry, photos will be coming soon, so keep your eye out for those. We'll have them posted sometime next week - God willing!

So we ask you to keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we continue in the mission of Camp. This is more than just a blog, it's more than just social media; This is Orthodox evangelism in a way that can reach hundreds, if not thousands. Our goal is to Glorify God in everything we do, and to increase the love of God in our campers, by bringing them to Camp for the spiritual food provided by the labors of the CN staff, and the power of the Holy Spirit!

Until next time, God bless!
